Kiya began her journey with the firm as a Legal Intern while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in criminology at the University of South Florida. She brings dedication and a genuine passion for the legal profession to her role as Office Administrator, where she plays a pivotal part in overseeing daily operations and ensuring seamless client communication.
Coming from a proud military family, Kiya has a deep appreciation for leadership and community service; these are values that have shaped both her personal and professional outlook. Her upbringing instilled in her respect for service and purpose driven work, qualities that align seamlessly with the mission and culture of our firm. With aspirations to attend law school, she views her current role as an invaluable foundation for her future legal career.

In his role as Corporate Chaplain for our law firm, Bishop Dr. Steven Sutton Sr. provides spiritual ministry and support, fostering a culture of holistic well-being in our workplace. His extensive religious acumen spans over twenty-eight years of ministry leadership, progressing through multiple levels of religious authority. He is licensed as a minister, ordained as a Pastor, and ordained as Bishop. He currently oversees and provides pastoral training and counseling for ministries across the United States, throughout the African continent, and in the Caribbean region.
Dr. Sutton's international religious work includes overseeing multiple religious and humanitarian
initiatives in Africa: building a ministry in Ghana, managing the IFPCM School of Theology with five campuses in Malawi, working with local pastors in Kenya to care for orphaned children, and establishing the Sak-Pa-Se School of Hope during his United Nations service in Haiti.
Among his other notable achievements, Dr. Sutton retired from the United States Army after more than twenty years of honorable service, held political appointments in Douglas County, Georgia, and served as a registered mediator with the Supreme Court of Georgia.

Jovani is admitted to practice law in both Florida and the District of Columbia. She concentrates her practice in corporate law and litigation, with a focus on representing not-for-profit corporations and litigating matters involving insurance and consumer protection.
Jovani’s distinguished legal career spans diverse roles, including serving as in-house associate general counsel for a leading national insurance carrier, working as a transactional M&A legal analyst for an international insurance company, and practicing as an associate attorney with one of Florida’s largest private litigation firms. Her commitment to supporting NPO and NGO leaders reflects her dedication to empowering those at the forefront of community advancement with the legal expertise they need to thrive.
Before pursuing her legal career, Jovani was a purser flight attendant with American Airlines, traveling to national and international destinations. This experience provided her with invaluable exposure to diverse cultures and perspectives, fostering her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. The perspective she gained continues to enhance her capacity to engage with and advocate for clients from diverse backgrounds.
In her spare time, Jovani volunteers with various nonprofit organizations and participates in local bar associations. She is also politically involved in her community. She serves as a Precinct Committee Chairwoman in Hillsborough County, Florida. In that role, she campaigns for general get-out-the-vote efforts.
